Review: Sulwhasoo Clarifying Mask

Sulwhasoo Clarifying Mask is a peel-off mask which functions to clarify, hydrate, purify,  brighten the skin. Usually peel off mask is meant for blackheads, dull and oily skin but this mask is also targeted towards dry skin so dry skin users need not worry. You can use this after cleansing your face or after cleansing and using emulsion on your face. Emulsion means a light lotion, which is common in Japanese and Korean skincare routines. Using the mask after applying emulsion is recommended as it will be gentler to the skin when you peel off the mask. The mask is very sticky and is in a dark brown color. The texture is quite like honey. It takes quite a long time to dry, which is about 30 minutes. After peeling of the mask, my skin look smoother and glowing. It is not painful to peel off the mask unlike some peel off masks. You don't need to wash your face after removing this mask but continue with your skincare routine such as applying moisturizer and eye cream.

Top 5 Lip Tints

I am in love with lip tints because I hate to reapply lipstick every time after eating. I never know how people can just wear lipsticks. Do they just not drink water throughout the day? Or do they make weird mouth shapes in order to avoid their lips touching anything while eating and drinking? These are some of my favourite Korean lip tints which are affordable and not drying, does not accentuate lip cracks and does not settle on lip lines. 1) Etude House Cherry Lip Tint 2) Etude House Kissful Tint Chou or Kissful Tint Choux 3) Peripera Fairy Tint Glow Stick 4) Aritaum Water Sliding Tint 5) The Saem Tint-in-Oil

Review: Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask - Manuka Honey

This mask is meant for very dry skin. The essence is clear unlike some Innisfree masks which has milky emulsion  type of essence. I don't find it amazingly moisturizing. I would not repurchase this again. It contains alcohol which is why it probably does not moisturize well.  Ingredients list: Water, glycerin, butylene glycol, alcohol, betaine, citrus paradisi (grapefruit) fruit extract, honey extract, PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil, xanthan gum, carbomer, ethylhexylglycerin, potassium hydroxide, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, sodium hyaluronate, citrus unshiu peel extract, orchid extract, camellia sinensis leaf extract, camellia japonica leaf extract, opuntia coccinellifera fruit extract, disodium EDTA, phenoxyethanol, fragrance

Review: Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask - Black Berry

The essence is a milky white emulsion instead of watery liquid. The mask sheet is not drippy and not drowned in way too much essence. It smells a bit perfumey but I'm not one who minds much about the smell of a product. I left it on for 40 minutes as I like to leave it longer than recommended.  After removing it, my skin felt moisturized but also sticky due to the lotion type of essence which is thicker and oilier. The next morning, my skin feel soft when I rinse it off with water.  Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract, Blackberry Juice(200mg), Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Dimethicone, PEG-100 Stearate, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Ethylhexylglycerin, Potassium Hydroxide, Adenosine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tangerine Peel Extract, Orchid Extract, The green Tea Extract, Camellia Leaf Extract, Prickly Pear Extract, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance.

Review: Berrisom Animal Mask

Berrisom is a brand familiar to me due to the popular lip tint. Besides that, the ingredients of the mask seems ok so I didn't hesitate to buy it. I bought the Berrisom Animal Monkey Mask for my boyfriend and the Berrisom Animal Raccoon Mask for myself. The mask is not very pigmented unlike the Arendra Animal Masks . My boyfriend also experiences mild tingling feeling around the areas where he shaved which are the moustache and beard. The tingling is just mild and doesn't cause redness though. Probably the mask contains ingredient similar to menthol which causes the tingling effect.

Review: Arendra Animal Mask

I bought the Arendra Animal Seal Mask along with the Arendra Animal Panda Mask at a shop in Korea. I have never heard of this brand before but the ingredients seem ok. I just want a cheap animal face mask experience with my boyfriend so I just grab this mask which is the cheapest. It seems like many korean brands get their supplies of the animal masks from the same suppliers as many brands offer the same types of animal masks. The masks are just lightly hydrating which I don't mind as I just want to see how an animal mask would look like on me. I would say that I am very satisfied with this mask as it is very pigmented, more so than the Berrisom Animal Masks . The masks don't sting my skin too. I would say that it is worth buying just for the sake of entertainment but not for skincare purposes as the masks aren't very hydrating nor provide any brightening results.
