Todak Seafood Restaurant is arguably the most popular seafood restaurant in Johor Bahru as the food is supposedly good and affordable. Tons of Singaporeans would flock to this restaurant and it is recommended to come before 7 pm so you wouldn’t have to wait for so long. Todak Restaurant is always very packed and you would have to stand near the table of the patrons whom you think would be leaving soon so you can book that table. Come in a huge group and give the patrons who are eating (preferably a small group like a couple) an intense stare to pressure them to leave quicker lol. After we got a table, we ordered Teo Chew steamed fish, lala with spring onion and ginger, and the highly recommended curry prawns. We also ordered bo li seng (iceberg lettuce) vegetables which wasn’t photographed because who cares about vegetables at a seafood restaurant. The steamed fish came in a huge plate.
